iPhone 5S picture shortcomings have seen the new flagship phone sell through Apple's flagship London store a few hours after launch, leaving disappointed many consumers.
With today's iPhone 5S release date having been plagued by low inventory, the iPhone 5 follow-on has already sold out at the Apple Store. Further impeding arrival UK mobile phone, a number of networks and third-party vendors are not able to offer stock in the store.
"Due to the popularity of the iPhone 5, we sold today," a sign erected in the Apple store said. Although iPhone 5S picture shortcomings have seen the phone to sell out, the iPhone 5 is still available in a range of colours and storage capacity.
Despite having confirmed that the iPhone 5 would launch today, it seems that the company had kept as a few Apple phones would sell. Not having offered iPhone 5S pre-orders, the Cupertino company based this morning revealed that one day purchase through Apple's online store will not be shipped until October.
Offering an early sign of things to come, O2 yesterday took to Twitter to confirm that it would not be able to offer the iPhone 5S from launch due to constraints.
"Almost #O2iPhone Friday! Get 5 c instore ordering & 5s & phone online. No 5s in stores but you can order it for you and tell you when it's in, "an O2 spokesman said through the official Twitter feed of the company.
IPhone 5S was formally unveiled last week, running a new 64-bit processor of A7 alongside a revised from 8 Megapixels, 7 iOS operating system and a new Touch fingerprint ID scanner embedded inside the home button.
Available in 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB of storage capacity, iPhone price 5S kick off to £549. The handset is available in three color schemes, silver, gray and gold.
