Rumors that the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5 will hit stores by 20 September appear to be money, judging from the information published by China Telecom.
Apple is set to push into the Chinese smartphone market with its next generation iPhone devices. In fact, many argue that the low cost iPhone 5 c was developed with a lucrative mid-range market in mind.
This view has been strengthened in recent days with the announcement that Apple will host an event of separate iPhone launch in China just a day after the US event that will be held on 10 September.
So when China Telecom, the country's third mobile network, leaking details about the release date of new iPhone range, it is worth taking note.
According to Sina Tech, the network took Chinese microblogging site Weibo to inform customers of the impending arrival of iPhone and iPhone 5 C 5. Also showed that the new phones will be available for purchase from September 20, just 10 days after the initial launch event there.
The message was removed, thus confirming that China Telecom jumped the gun a bit in his announcement.
The 10 September should see the revelation of a new iPhone top-of-the-range, the 5S of iPhone, which closely resemble the iPhone 5. However, it is expected to sport a faster processor, a camera and a fingerprint scanner.
On the cards is also the first budget ever built, iPhone 5 c. It will feature similar proportions for the iPhone 5, but will be made of hard plastic rather than aluminum. It should include a similar 4-inch display, but probably contains components that are older, slower.
Both phones will be running on boldly overhauled 7 iOS mobile operating system, Apple.
