iPhone 5 set to beat the record of pre-order

With iPhone 5 C pre-orders having kicked off today with main smartphone retailers predicted that the laptop just confirmed breaks all records of advanced orders.

After being officially unveiled earlier this week alongside the flagship iPhone 5S, colorful new Apple laptop is now available for pre-order before September 20 next week, iPhone 5 release date. Although the 5S will hit retailers on the same day, Apple has chosen not to offer iPhone 5S pre-orders.

Despite the 5S not being available for pre-order, retailer phones 4u has argued that the two new Apple laptops have aroused more interest than iPhone 5 last year during the same time frame.

"Demand for the new iPhone 5 and 5s was truly phenomenal in the first days of pre-registration," said Scott Hooton, Chief Commercial Officer at phones 4u.

He added: "we have already seen double-digit growth in registrations over the same period for iPhone 5 last year, and with the exceptional rate where we're getting these, we are predicting that the new laptops will set a record as generating more pre-recordings ever to phones 4u".

As well as being on track to beat the record of pre-order, Hooton added that the iPhone 5 C and iPhone 5S are helping to raise the profile of 4 g in the United Kingdom, with three-quarters of pre-orders signing up to new 4 g rates.

"We know from looking at our pre-registration that men are now showing more interest in the new Apple iPhone (65 per cent) and we also saw a huge appetite for new smartphones between 18-30 years old, who took almost two-thirds of the recordings," said Hooton.

"To date, this interest has also been shown that 75 percent are willing to buy the new iPhone 5 or 5s on 4 g, so not only do we expect pre-orders of iPhone 5 c to go through the roof this weekend.

"We are gearing up for an exceptionally busy day launch September 20, when both officially going on sale at phones 4u stores across the country and online."
