Improvements, how incremental, that they are, are always welcome.
2 Prism of Huawei T-Mobile, for example, shows the improvements over its predecessor, the Prism. Although both are marketed as low-cost devices, low-spec, this latest iteration has Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a processor hit place (from 600 MHz to 1 GHz) and a slightly reinforced, 1, 750mAh battery. And despite it, retaining the same number of megapixels of the camera, I noticed that the 2 Prism had better pictures.
Given all this, fans of the original handset will be not be disappointed later. Especially since this is a competitive price $ 115.99. However, if you are in the market for a more high level phone that has blazing 4 G speeds, a zippy processor and an amazing screen, you find here.
Design
Save for the rubbery, Matt battery, the T-Mobile Prism 2 spacers aesthetics shiny all plastic that deliberately looks like. Especially given the neon green ring that surrounds the lens of the camera on the back, the unit has a 'young' subtle look that feels still rather cheap.
4.6 Inches in height and 2.44 inches wide, weighing 3.88 ounces, it is compact, lightweight and easy to control with one hand. However, his profile of 0.49 inches is thick and heavy Chin bilayer under the screen adds to its bulk.

On the left is a port Micro-USB for charging, up there are a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a button sleep/power-off and on the right is a thin volume controller.
The 3.5 inch HVGA screen has a resolution of 480 by 320 pixel. While it is sufficiently sensitive to the touch, obviously, it is not the best screens. Yes, text and icons are legible and easy to make, but you will see aliasing on the edges of the individual letters and graphics. The default wallpaper photographs show many bands of color and nearly photos look grainy upwards. And because the touch screen is not very bright, it was really difficult to read in direct sunlight, because it had a narrow viewing angle and the screen was low. I didn't have much trouble viewing indoors, however. Here is the screen three shortcut keys than white Halo in use for the return at home and the menu.
The rear of houses lens of the 3.2 megapixel camera that doesn't have a flash. Below that is a small narrow slot for the speaker. To remove the battery cover, lift into the notch at the bottom of the handset. Once out of the gate, you have access to the 750mAh battery 1. Unfortunately, you will need to remove the battery if you want to insert a 32 GB microSD card in the slot.
The software features
Given how rudimentary is this phone, it's nice to see that it comes with the operating system Android 4.1 Jelly Bean when unpacking.
Therefore, you will get your usual bunch of Google apps: Chrome, Gmail, search, more, Local, Maps with Navigation, Messenger, access to books, Magazines, movies & TV, store Play and portals of music, talk and YouTube.

You'll also get the least common apps, such as an FM radio, a Wi - Fi configuration shortcut, an application which offers advice on how to use your Prism 2, and an emergency wireless alert app called WEA.
T Mobile loaded several conservatives of his apps in as well. My T-Mobile account gives you information about your phone and data plan; a trial subscription for the service of caller ID name; Visual voice mail; and finally, a 30 day trial for T-Mobile TV. It is a service through which you can stream TV channels such as Fox News and ESPN live, and download culturally significant shows like "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."
The unit has also 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of ROM, hot-spotting mobile and Bluetooth 4.0.
Camera and video
The 3.2 megapixel camera offers a few photo options. These include a digital zoom, geotagging, a new way of shooting panoramic, five effects of color, five white balances, five ISO options, a timer, three photos of qualities, three picture sizes (ranging from 640 x 480 to 2, 048 x 1536 pixels) and lines of the compositions.
The video recorder has even fewer options. You will not get the same white balance, zoom and geolocation, and you options you give two video formats (VGA to MMS).
Although the original Prism and this version, the two have a 3.2 megapixel camera, photo quality on the newer model appears to be significantly improved. Yes, the lack of touch focus, it is difficult to obtain certain objects to the strong research and photos were still a few edges. But objects looked a little more to the point, colors were slightly brighter and all, photos looked less pixelated. And while the camera remains slow compared to those you find on more powerful devices, I felt like the time where it took to update itself for another picture shorter than on the first Prism.
