motion sensor problems reported 5S iPhone

Reports suggest that the 5S iPhone may have serious problems with its advanced motion sensors.

When the 5S iPhone launched on 20 September, Apple said its brand new M7 coprocessor as a revolution in mobile technology of motion detection.

However, just two weeks on we are hearing reports of inaccuracies with device movement and orientation detection capabilities. There is a vast forum thread over on MacRumours detailing the experiences of many iPhone owners 5S.

Sure enough, according to a follow-up report over on Gizmodo, iPhone 5 sensors are significantly off. The site has conducted tests to ascertain the extent of these problems using the app just motion detection of Apple.

A look at the spirit level tool has revealed that the iPhone 5 had two or three degrees outside when oriented according to a physical equivalent good old style. Other users had reported a slip by four to six degrees.

The same test with an iPhone 5 revealed that the problem was specific to the new model and could be a hardware issue, rather than an easy-to-fix one.

Another test using Apple's gyro instrument revealed a similar discrepancy three degrees in 5S of the iPhone. This would have considerable repercussions for the games that use the iPhone's gyroscope for the movement, as the Real Racing Series.

Sure enough, another test involving 3 on a Real Racing iPhone 5S showed that cars naturally tended to swerve left when the device was perfectly level.

5S compass iPhone App has also been shown to be off by as much as 10 degrees relative to the physical compass readings.

Given that the degree of error varies from user to user, it is possible that the 5S iPhone portable are not calibrated properly during construction. Could it be that a simple software upgrade is not a viable solution.

This is the latest gaffe Apple following Antennagate and Apple maps debacle?

HTC One iPhone feature Max 5S rivaling fingerprint sensor?

The HTC Max one can follow the iPhone 5S including a fingerprint sensor, when presumably launches this fall.

New pictures have emerged of an HTC Max, suggesting that the supersized HTC One will pack a fingerprint sensor similar to the iPhone Touch ID 5S.

The device itself in images definitely look very similar to those we saw in the previous losses, but this time the HTC One Max has a new Square Panel under the back of the camera Ultrapixel.

This is said to be a new fingerprint scanner that will be one of the differentiating factors between the HTC Max one and its flagship HTC and HTC One mini brothers.

However, the placement of the sensor on an HTC Max can make it somewhat inaccessible, unlike how Apple has incorporated Touch sensor ID in redesigned home button of 5S of the iPhone.

The user who posted the images suggested the device may have been a prototype HTC as always take this loss with a pinch of salt.

HTC One Max Features

Rumored heavily for a launch sometime this fall, the HTC a Max will have a Full HD LCD from 5.9 inches powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 2.3 GHz with 800 of 2 GB of RAM.

Potentially a direct rival to Samsung Galaxy 3 Note launched recently, the HTC a Max has the same design as the HTC One and offer the latest HTC Sense UI with BlinkFeed and Zoe software features.

The HTC Max one should be NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4 g LTE connectivity and powered by a rechargeable 200mAh 3, to help run the big screen.

There have not been any official details on Max one from Taiwanese manufacturer HTC yet, but the device is expected to launch in the near future.

Leak indicates that Galaxy III fingerprint touch sensor function is KNOX

Someone managed to note III get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy, a list of his APKs take a few screenshots and even an AnTuTu test before tomorrow's announcement made. The Phablet register itself as Samsung N9005 Android running 4.3.

The AnTuTu factor is around 24 K, which is low for a Snapdragon-800 chipset (which is one of the two chipsets rumor of records für the note II), it goes to so much as that the Snapdragon-600 in the Galaxy S4 notes. The Exynos 5 octa-version of the S4 is faster and the Note III to the updated version of this chipset.

We are this chalk up to early software. Speaking of software, the list of the APKs shows KNOX functions (Samsung's enterprise security platform, approved by the U.S. Department of Defense), a FingerprintService, a "digital pen" (S pen), an ANT + service (an energy-efficient wireless tech for sports sensors), a cover lock service (for flip cover ALA Galaxy S4), EverNote, Samsung apps along with some custom (the custom camera app, the S-Planeretc...).
