The butterfly S HTC packs the best features compared to the One from HTC, but it has no large industrial construction. If you're the type who prefers the faster hardware, then the S is for you. Otherwise, stick to the jewel one.
Announced in Taipei and targeted at the Asian market, the smartphone update 5 inches has a faster 1.9 GHz quad-core, Ultrapixel camera found on the HTC One and a much more 3, 200mAh battery. Although it seems somewhat similar to its predecessor, the original butterfly of HTC, HTC has breathed a new life into this handset with speakers from the front and a fresh portion of Android Jelly Bean and Sense UI.
Design
The butterfly S HTC dismiss much Butterfly original handset. The butterfly S design remains virtually unchanged, with the exception of the BoomSound additional speakers like on HTC One face. It is an effort of good design by HTC, as it is logical that the audio be directed straight to the user, rather than the back or sides where it may sound muffled.

Another thing that I liked the butterfly S is that it comes with three standard buttons. It made me take a long time to get back to hitting the home located in the Center button (I was using a HTC before that), but I think having three buttons is better than two HTC One, because it is less confusing to have a dedicated application selector button.

The micro-SIM and microSD card slots are located at the top of the appliance under a blanket. I was initially worried that the microSD card would be difficult to access, but the location is spring, there was no problem with the removal of the map. The power button is located next to the port, and as instantly, the button also serves as an IR blaster remote from your TV.
The handset is curved gently to fit your palms, but unlike the star, the S butterfly is made with shiny plastic. Unsurprisingly, the handset feels oily with unsightly spots after prolonged use.
Features
The butterfly is the first HTC phone to launch with Android 4.2.2. Jelly Bean, although it works yet the new UI of 5 upside. There are some minor compromises made by HTC to the operating system for its skin, including a customizable screen limited lock. Sense 5, by default, has a very recommended range lock screens according to the preferences of the different user, making the 4.2.2. lock screen redundant features.
You get access to quick settings, daydream, and the percentage of battery in the status bar. BlinkFeed has also been enhanced with the ability to pull wires WeChat and Instagram. RSS WeChat seem to be exclusive to the butterfly S - it is not available in the HTC One.

Butterfly S packs 16 GB of onboard storage, which may not be enough if you have tons of media files. Fortunately, it has a slot for microSD card for additional storage.
